For example, we provide information to title companies and appraiser for the purpose of obtaining a mortgage loan for you.
We provide the third party with only the information necessary to carry out its contracted responsibilities and only for that purpose. These parties must agree to comply with Highland Commercial Bank’s policies for privacy protection of the information they receive.
Your information will also be disclosed if you request us to do so or when the disclosure is permitted or required by law to government or regulatory agencies (for example, to protect your account from fraud).
Highland Commercial bank does not sell or rent or share information about current or former customers to third parties, except as described above.

Our Security Procedures
Highland Commercial Bank maintains appropriate security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized access to customer information. All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account from being accessed by third parties. We maintain and grant access to customer information only in accordance with our internal security standards.
We have developed policies and procedures to guide our staff. We educate our employees on the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy through training, procedures, and professional conduct guidelines. Access to customer information is restricted to only those who have a business reason for knowing. We view failure to protect a customer’s confidentiality a serious matter and will take disciplinary action, up to and including termination, for those who violate this policy.
